Bungee Cord, sometimes referred to as Shock Cord, is a black, nylon covered, strong elastic cord used for tensioning the sail at wing tips and spines of various stunt kites and single line kites. It is available in 4 popular sizes, 1/16", 3/32”, 5/64" and 1/8”. The 1/8” is also used for securing the flying line in place on card winders.
